In case you have not heard, the Henneth Annun Story Archive (known as HASA) will be shutting down at the end of the year!

An effort is underway to rescue stories that are not found elsewhere. The details can be found here.

If you can help, the post will explain how; if you can't help, please consider passing the information along! The project can use all the signal-boost it can get!

As far as I know, Vistula the Dundanan only has an account on the Henneth Annun Story Archive. If she has an account anywhere else, I'm not aware of it. (I'm assuming that the author is a "she.")

Here are some stories of hers that I would hate to see lost: "The Price of Growing Older" (http://www.henneth-annun.net/stories/chapter.cfm?stid=5628); "Together, One Last Time" (http://www.henneth-annun.net/stories/chapter.cfm?stid=5512); "Stolen September" (http://www.henneth-annun.net/stories/chapter.cfm?stid=7454); "Bed os Roses" (http://www.henneth-annun.net/stories/chapter.cfm?stid=4511); and "Sam I Am" (http://www.henneth-annun.net/stories/chapter.cfm?stid=4136) If a way could be to salvage these, that would be great.

(Sorry for the late reply; I'm just now seeing this!)

I'm one of the volunteers working on this project. The approach we're taking is to go through every HASA story, one by one, first searching to see if it is available elsewhere on the Web. If it is, we're saving the link(s) so that we can eventually make a master list of where to find HASA stories elsewhere.

If a story isn't available, we're saving a copy of the story. Once we've finished this part--since this part is time-sensitive--then we will attempt to contact the author for permission to archive her or his work on one or more of the participating groups (MPTT, Silmarillion Writers' Guild, and Faerie).

MPTT is working on a project currently similar to the SWG's Library of Tirion, where you can request us to archive older stories on the site. We will attempt to contact the author and will archive the stories with their permission. Rhapsody, who has just finished up with the Tree and Flower Awards, will be working on this next, so we should have more news about it soon. I'll try to remember to forward your requests once it's finished. :) In any case, the stories will be saved as part of the HASA rescue; the tough part will probably be locating authors who have not been active for some time.

Great! Thanks. I would hate to see these stories lost for all time.
